Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.

I normally make heart shaped pancakes or sandwiches for the girls and we do some fun crafts for family members. This year we will focus on crafts for my husband since he just left for a year on deployment to Iraq.

I missed my first valentines day with my honey last year because I was travelling for work. I have a conference scheduled in New Orleans, his hometown, just before valentines this year, so I am taking him with me this time round! We are looking forward to walking through the French Quarter and stuffing ourselves with yummy cajun food... hopefully this will become our tradition!

For my mom & sis I try to make something crafty as there are so many "Heart" paper & embelishments. This year I am thinking of decorating a mini mailbox with some of the valentine paper that is out there & writing a "love" note to each of them to tell them what I love about each of them

What great giveaways!! We celebrate each year by making a valentines breakfast or dinner (depending if it's a weekday or weekend). My kids always get Valentine's from us...it's my 2nd favorite holiday! :)

My husband and I (usually) are not able to celebrate Valentine's day on the 14th. I am a nurse and my husband works third shift, so often we do not see each other on Valentine's day. We do, however, make a point to eat a specal dinner together around the 14th to celebrate. We both feel that it is important to celebrate our love-the actual day doesn't matter.

We have a special dinner with everything red and heart shaped. We always have a heart shaped pizza served on heart shaped plates. For dessert we have heart shaped brownies with red frosting and heart sprinkles. I always have valentines day decorations up. I make my two daughters and husband a mini album telling them how much I love them. I put the albums in a bag with some Sees candy, a little valentines stuffed animal, and a few other little goodies. I love your new stamps!!

We do not normally make a big deal out of Valentine's day at our house. Hubby and I usually go out just the 2 of us for a romantic dinner, which is a treat.

Hi Ali,
wonderful stuff. I adore Valentines Day, red is my favorite color and it is a great excuse to shower my boys with extra love and fun traditions. I start the day by having a special breakfast with heart shaped pancakes and fun little treats. I love to leave them little notes around the house too. Then at dinner time we have all the family favorites and we eat in the dining room using all the good china and crystal with the room totally decked out for Valentines. It is also the day every year where I write a love note to each of my boys and put it in their scrapbooks. Thanks Ali for the giveaways. Cary Vanos

I feel kind of bad. I used to make a valentine's dinner with some girlfriends of mine, but now that we have 3 kids we don't do much on valentine's day. We don't go out to eat because of the crowds. Maybe we should start a new tradition this year!

I love Valentine's Day! Not so much with all the hearts N cutesy stuff but more so the colors. It makes me feel that spring is just right around the corner. I usually spend an afternoon making valentine's cards with my girls...I think it's going to be even more fun now that my oldest is in K. I pull out my sb-stash and we just go to town with it. I just love teaching them little artsy skills and making something they can give.

I'm going to have the kids make a huge sidewalk chalk valentine greeting on our driveway for my husband to come home to. I'll also have handmade cards and a special dinner. One thing we did last year was have a family night of decorating 12x12 hearts. It was fun and I think it will be a new tradition for us. You have a happy Valentines Day too!

As a family we order a heart shaped pizza for dinner and then watch a movie. My husband and I try to do something just the two of us later.

To celebrate Valentine's Day, my husband and I usually go to our favorite seafood place here in Seattle, Anthony's (we don't have any kids yet). Thanks for the chance to win!

My wonderful husband makes dinner for me. Usually with quiet background music and candlelight. Then we exchange cards and small gifts and enjoy some quality time together.

I always try and make my husband something heart shaped for breakfast, or with lots of red, I'll usually put red food dye in what ever I make, and have strawberries and such... And then our other small tradition is we make each other cards... not an unusual occurrence for me, but the cards I get from my husband are usually pretty darn cute.
Thanks for the chances to win!

Since our anniversary is 2 days after Valentines day we go out to dinner on our anniversary celebrating both days. Of course I make my husband cards for both occassions.I also make little treat bags for my parents, & son & daughter-in-law & give them to them along with their cards.

I always make up a special little Valentine for my family that is from my daughter. Her Nana, Papa and Aunties just love it and I send it to her Daddy, too.
My husband usually spoils me even more on Valentine's Day. He'll get me some chocolate and take me out to one of my favorite places to eat. It's just a sweet simple thing and I love it. ;)
Thanks for the chance, Ali! Oh, and I LOVE your stamps. The sayings are so beautiful!
