Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.
[ Three Things is a weekly product series : check out the archives here. ]

Eve has added some really cool sweetheart combo packs to her etsy shop along with a "he said. she said" mini album kit. One winner will receive both of these.

Elle has two new lines debuting in her shop this month in addition to new clear stamps. One person will win the My Dear line and another will receive the Valentine's package. Check out her Handmade With Love week beginning January 17th.
Clickin Moms : two, one-year memberships for their wonderful photography forums and tutorials. I know many of you are working on your photography skills and this may be just the place for learning and community with other creative people.
Scrap For A Cure : one January kit called "Sweet Cheeks." 5% of total sales go to a different charity each quarter.
To be entered into today's drawing please leave a comment letting me know how you celebrate Valentine's Day. Do you do something special for your kids or other family members that has become a nice tradition from year to year? I always make heart shaped pancakes for breakfast and try to incorporate heart shaped things through the day. My heart shaped cookie cutter is in overtime. I use it for grilled cheese sandwiches, I'll bake a cake and cut out heart shapes and frost them, etc. My little boys love it and we all exchange small, inexpensive gifts of love. The kids draw pictures for us and we give them little treats. I love Valentine's Day!

Last year I made the wonderful little mini-book that you had the tutorial for on your blog. Hubby cooked an amazing 3 course dinner, complete with menu!
I love Valentine's Day - you don't have to buy into the commercialism of it.

I host a simple gathering of good friends on an evening close to Valentine's Day and ask each girlfriend to bring a "Sweet Nothing" (handmade preferably) to exchange during the party (the creativity and variety of SW's is amazing). One year we played "Name That Tune"...the winner of each round could choose or 'steal' one of the Sweet Nothings...it was so FUN!! I set up a variety of desserts and red beverages. It is a sweet and simple evening to celebrate wonderful friendships!

My nephew & niece & sister & I always have fun making cards for family, friends and classmates. Usually the first five or so are stunning works of art, then we all enter 'sticker sneeze' mode! (Humm, kind of like the Christmas cards we made come to think of it . . LOL)

no kids yet (I'm due at the same time you are girl)... but my husband and I always celebrate BEFORE hand to take advantage of cheaper dinners, etc. Our rule is we can only spend $5 on eachother for v day and it's fun to see what we come up with each year!

Hi Ali! We celebrate Valentine's day every year by cooking something special at home that we've either never had before or never attempted to cook before....one year we had lobster with homemade herb butter. And of course there are gifts involved!

It has become a bit of a tradition to go to York for the day, all 4 of us. We go to the National Railway Museum and look at trains all day - it must be love as everyone else enjoys it (except me). Oh but then we go to Betties for cream teas, scones, clotted cream and yummy jam - mummie's balance is restored...

In our house we celebrate Valentine's Day with a special dinner and dessert. A few weeks before, my boys and I make Valentine's cards for our family. We decoreted the house with a lot of red and this year I am going to start a new tradition. I will write and mail a card everyday to my boys staring the last week of January.

With 2 little boys in preschool, I have a lot of valentines to put together for their classes..with their help of course. I also like to make my husband a card just from myself and my boys will make him and their grandparents valentines from construction paper and stickers. I also make heart shaped cupcakes and let my boys decorate them...it's all really fun and of course I take tons of pictures!

We go to our church after supper where the Youth group put on a fundraiser event called "Valentino's Dessert Cafe". It is all decorated and has fabulous desserts! We went pre-kids and we could even go when the kids were babies/toddlers and now preschoolers-not too many places work out for all those stages.
