Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.

it's different every year... my favorite was our first year of marriage. We went skiing & had a really romantic dinner at a cute little inn near where we were staying.

I always make a handmade card for my special guy. I also try to make another small gift. Normally a small photo album, or cookies. :)

Every year i buy my husband a 4-pack of Reeds Ginger Beer, the kind with the red cap that's too spicy for me but he LOVES it. It's serious ginger ale, no alcohol, and makes your stomach feel really good. Real Jamaican Ginger, i guess! Thanks for the chance to win stuff!

Very low key here - we usually just make cards for eachother but after reading some of these posts I might adopt a few things other people do.

Hi Ali thanks so much for your giveaways.
We usually celebrate Valentines on our own with dinner or something special just to be grateful for each other & have some time!!! This year though as we have 3 girls & they are getting older we will take them on a date. We truly believe if you show them how they should be treated they will expect nothing less & will treat other people the same. There will be a lot of laughs & love for Us. Mel xx

We usually get dinner for us and the kids at our fave Chinese restaurant and dessert at a local frozen yogurt place. I have been known to dress up the kids all festive and drop in on my hubby at work with heart balloons, flowers and all kinds of goodies. I don't know what I am gonna have up my sleeve this year!

I always create a mini album for each of my girls to remind them of all the things I love about them. I am excited because this year I bought a digital kit by Katie Pertiet off the Designer Digitals website! It is all pink and pretty! All I have to do is insert the pictures and my journaling! Can't wait to start!

I usually make something crafty for my hubby...and at some point we go out to dinner or I make him a nice dinner at home, but that's the extent of it (and we exchange cards). We don't make a huge deal of it.

The girls and I always make valentines for their friends and mail them to relatives too (they are usually handmade and so much fun). We do a small gift for each child and usually some type of "heart theme" baking or craft project. I have been keeping a journal the past couple years on what I love about each child right now...just a list that paints a picture of this moment in their life.

My mom always got each of us something special on Valentines day so that if we did not get the valentine we dreamed of from the dreamy boy at school we always knew that we were loved. I am going to start this year (my son is only 3) to always make sure he knows how much his mama loves him...

My favorite V-day was last year when I took my son to where my husband parks his car at the train station for his daily commute. We made great big hearts from construction paper and taped them all over his big truck. Then we hid and watched him get off the train and walk to his truck. People were laughing and waiting to see who arrived and my son just couldn't help it (he was 3 then) and yelled "I just love you so much Daddy!" It was priceless- cannot wait to do it again with two kids this year!

Thank you for sharing these adorable products. For Valentine's Day, my 4yr son and i make homemade cards for the family and our closest friends. We usually go out for a casual dinner for the 3 of us and celebrate with my DH and I on another day when the restaurants aren't so crazy. We also make heart cut out cookies. i really like some of the ideas shared here and may have to adopt some
