Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.
[ Three Things is a weekly product series : check out the archives here. ]

Three things:
With my first husband, he planned a special date for anniversary, and I planned a special date for Valentine's day.
After he passed away, I would give a gift of cash to a different friend each year to be able to take her husband out on a special date.
Now, with my second husband, we happen to have gone snowboarding each year around Valentine's day. We did that on our honeymoon, too, and it's become our thing.

Well I don't have a sweetie this year, but I usually send out a couple of cards, give my family some silly altered tins with lots of hearts on it, and of course there are the little heart candies in the tins!
Oh and I love your new stamps! They are awesome.

At breakfast on Valentine's Day, we have heart shaped pancakes, strawberries and orange juice. If Valentine's Day fals on a week day, everyone gets special messages and treats in their lunches. We always have a special family dinner followed by some kind of gooey, yummy fudgy dessert!

I love Valentine's day, because I love pink! I usually buy a t-shirt for my kids, roll it up and tie with a ribbon. It's on the table that morning with a valentine card from mommy and daddy.

We decorate heart shaped sugar cookies and we have a scavenger hunt. I leave clues around the house and my boys take turns finding the next clue. I blow up about 75 balloons and put gifts in the shower or bathtub. When they find the last clue they open the door/curtain and all the balloons fall out then they find their gifts. They play with the balloons for days. It's a mess but they love it!

Hi Ali - I accepted Christ on Valentine's Day 7 years ago, so I "celebrate" this day by having a retreat and spending time with Him. I guess you could say He's the real love of my life!

We're pretty low key. I'll make dinner and a special dessert. I make a card for my husband and give it to him in the morning. He writes back to me in it and gives it to me at dinner. I make nicer cards than he can buy, and this way he doesn't have to remember to buy one. :O)

Valentine's day was my anniversary. I've always celebrated with a big party - for everyone we loved - couples, singles, families. To celebrate the loves in our lives, not just the romantic ones. Parties with all desserts and fruity drinks and chocolate fountains. Parties where you write love notes and open actual handmade valentines.

I have always made something handmade, usually a mini-book or special card. And of course home-baked goodies.
This year we live overseas and I think my cards need to be extra special.
