I just LOVE not having to get 2 pokey children ready 5 days a week. Personally, I LOVE getting up before the sun comes up and enjoying the peace and quiet before most of the neighborhood stirs.

I love the long days of summer!

I love the sheer possibility of each day, mostly blank slates with a little work and drivers ed for my 15 year old to hem the edges. To venture to a water park or a new place to eat lunch?..(not served on a plastic tray thank you very much!) or a trip to the library and a long day of reading...
I love no homework the very best with sweet corn, tomatoes and tall sunflowers following right behind...dreaming summer dreams....

I love summer for the sunshine & hours we spend outside in it!! :) the weekends we spend camping/boating are worth the wait!!

I love swimming, and camping and walks along the beach. This summer is extra special since I am home the whole summer on Mat leave with my big and lil boy.

I love the unscheduled time of summer. During the school year, we seem to run from one activity to the other. I make sure my son has free time to just be a kid during the summer.

I love diving into out pool on a hot day, the smell of sunblock, iceblocks, summer fruits and daylight savings in summer time because there's more time to do stuff including taking photos of layouts LOL!!!

Having the windows open at night for the summer breezes--the wonderful outdoor color of summer flowers!

Flip flops and warm weather are some of my favorite things about summer.

The longer days of summer mean more time spent with family enjoying the outdoors. Favorite activities include sitting on the back porch drinking lemonade, plucking treasures from the garden, and going for a stroll through the neighborhood. Summer is also the time when we usually go on vacation. Disney World-here we come!

I love the sun, the longer days, time at the beach and working my summer job! Summer is my favorite season by far!

I love every season for different reasons. But for summer I love so much sunshine. It just makes me happy when the sun is shining! and of course, who doesn't love a great waterslide on a hot summer day!!! Love both of those kits - what great bright fun colors.

The pool is open!

Warm weather, barbeques, eating on the patio, bike rides, time to enjoy friends and family. . . the list could go on and on. This year I'm looking forward to my first cross-country road trip as well.

Warmer weather, brats and the sweet smell of fresh cut grass! Living in WI will do that to ya!

I love that my kids have no school... so we can go on adventures, sleep in everyday if we want, craft, and simply hang out. I HATE the heat!!! and I think this summer is going to be hotter than last....
