The loooong sunny days here in Minnesota.

My favorite thing about Summer is camping and hiking. I love tomatoes out of my garden with cottage cheese. I love corn on the cob and watermelon.

My favorite thing about summer is not having to be on any kind of schedule (not having to get the boys up for school, staying up late to play outside with the neighbors and sleeping in the next morning) and spending all day every day just playing with the kiddos!!

My favorite things about summer, the pool and outside BBQ's and boys with grass stains on their pants from playing in the yard.

I love to open up all my windows, shut off the air conditioner and just smell the fresh air and hear the kids playing in the back yard...there's nothing like it!

Spending every day at the pool watching my girls learn how to swim.

Long daylight hours! Makes more time for bike rides, sitting on the front porch swing in the evenings, working in the yard, playing with the kids.

Summer is my favorite season because I love feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin. Even if I am in a bad mood and headed to work, just stepping out in that sunshine is like getting a warm hug. Seriously. :)

I LOVE that the sun stays up until 9 - 9:30, so I can enjoy the evening outside in the nice weather with my 3 YO daughter!!!

My fave thing about summer months - camping at our fave spot in the world, for 2 weeks of blissful isolation from the world. No phone or internet coverage. No traffic noise. Nothing but good friends, family, salad, swimmers, and total joy.

My favorite thing about summer is the long days. Up here in Alaska we get about 19 hours of daylight in June and it is wonderful!

I love all the time I get to spend with my family. BBQs, camping, hiking, going to the zoo and vacations with extended family.

Now that our oldest daughter is in school fulltime the thing I look forward to the most is having her around more...witnessing the bond that strengthens between her and our younger daughter.

My favorite things about summer are: late bedtimes, popsicles, parks, the beach, being able to GO OUTSIDE in only one layer, getting ready to go somewhere without having to spend five minutes getting everyone bundled up, leaves on trees, daytime until 9pm...ahhhh, I LOVE SUMMER. Can you tell?

I love swimming with my kids! I also love walking outdoors to get the mail or check on my garden and warming up after being in an air-conditioned house! Really makes you appreciate the air-conditioning!
