I love the smells in the yard as I walk through it the flowers are just overwhelming and the colors are amazing.

Wow! Both sets are better than great!! Being a teacher, the thing I love most about summer is NO SCHOOL. =] Everyone thinks the kids are the only ones excited as we've got only a week left. LOL I love being able to do all the things that there's "no time for" during the busy year of homework, grading, projects... =]

The best thing about summer is floating the Madison River on a hot day. A couple hours in the sun with a bucket full of cold drinks!

I love EVERYTHING about summer - going to the swimming pool, grilling, fresh food from the garden, seeing flowers & green outside. Summer is my most favorite season!

We live in WI so summer is very precious to us! Especially after the very long winter we just endured!
I love being able to homeschool my son at our patio table, planting the garden, and going outside without being bundled up! But most of all I love to hear the happy splash of my son jumping into his pool--that says summer to me!

The kids being home, not having such a rigorous night time schedule the night before. Wearing shorts and sandals. I can't wait!

As if I could pick only ONE favorite thing! But I really love the way the body reacts to summer things in general - the way we perk up to the sun, comforted by lush patches of grass between our toes and refreshed by melting popcicles in the evening.

I love the thunderstorms-a huge fan of lightning and thunder! I also love that smell in the air!!!

The best part of summer is being outside. We live in where winter stays MUCH too long. Summer nights are fabulous!

My favorite thing about the summer months is the leisure...no schedule (I'm a teacher), no school (kids at home) just doing whatever we decide to do. I can't wait!!!

How can I choose one thing I love about summer? It's a close tie between hanging at the pool all the time and the food (light refreshing fruit and salads). I suppose I eat that food in the winter too but it tastes even better in the summer when it's so hot.
