the best thing about summer are the long days! Love all that sunshine!

the FREEDOM! sleeping in, hanging out, having fun, kids getting to play with lots of friends, adventures.....all the stuff you can do with a wide open month or two of summer and no school.

Favorite thing? no school.

I love summer because of the warm air that we get (I hate being cold...go figure...living in MN), the fun things that we can do and because it is light outside for a long time, and it gives us more time to play.

I love summer nights. The temp cools down to reasonable levels and it's perfect for sitting on the porch!

SKYDIVING!!

Flip flops. Living in MN you can only wear them outside in summer months. I love not wearing socks.

My favorite thing about summer is relaxing outside on a hot day with a cool drink - this year drinks will be limited to iced tea and lemonade as baby #2 will be arriving late summer!

The smell of the night air, its so sweet and feels so good on my skin :)

My favorite thing about summer is sleeping in and spending time on the Oregon Coast!

Bare feet are easily my favorite part of summer! Bare feet and all the things that come with them - pop ice popsicles, watermelon, laying in the grass, little tan lines on my ever-growing girl, the smell of sunscreen and lemonade.

I love the fact that all of the shows I'm addicted to are reruns, so I don't feel committed to sitting on my sofa turning into a couch potato, and instead I go out and LIVE! :)

I love just being outdoors all the time, hiking, swimming, riding bikes, picnics. I just love the freedom to be able to play under the sun all day long with my amazing little gals.

Spending the weekends and many weeknights at the cabin. My kids love it there and it's close enough to home that we can get their in time to fix dinner, eat dinner, and make it back home to put everyone to bed.

my fav thing about the summer months is being outside and alive... I mean really alive

I enjoy the beach, swimming pool and my son being out of school and getting to take a few days off to be with him.

What I love about the summer months is the slowness of each day. I also like not being planned and just taking the day as it comes.

My favorite moments in summer are eating outside in the backyard, playing with the kids in the sandbox, and the sun not going down until after 8 pm.

Summer is a great excuse for life is slow down! Although oftentimes it still packed with activities when the stress is removed and that it is our family making the choices (not the school!) life is good.
