I love not having to wake up to an alarm. And I love not checking homework!

I love having the extra hours of daylight. It makes my life feel less rushed and I get inspired to do things.

My favorite thing about the summer months is leaving the window open at night and feeling to cool summer breeze while I sleep. LOVE IT!.

Sticky fingers, dripping popsicles, plastic pools and the sweet smell of coconut sun lotion. Evening walks with the husband, the slight tingle of a days worth of sun on my skin and smelling the outdoors on my kids as I kiss them before bed. Ahhhhh summer.

The best thing about summer is using a shovel for the garden and not the driveway.

i love summer fruit - i'm very much a winter person, and i'm looking forward to the coming rain (i hope! australia's having a very dry year!) but i'm already missing the plums and strawberries!

I LOVE making sun tea, going to the farmer's markets, being able to spend endless hours outside. The BEST part is making ice cream with all your friends around to share it!!

I love that I feel relaxed during the summer. We seem to connect more with family and friends and the sunshine makes me happy.

I love the vibrant colors that come with summer. The green trees and the blue sky and the bright sun. I'm not crazy about the sweating when you walk out the door, but summer just makes you feel good.

Watermelon, boat rides and free time.

No doubt about it - not having to get up early ! Just having the freedom to do what we want, no school, no soccer, just doing
what we want when we want.

I love that my children aren't in school. We all enjoy each other's company and they grow up so fast. There are a lot of homework pressures during the school year and it is nice to have them gone for a short time.

I love the smell of grills/barbeques during a Brewer Game or lazy summer weekend. The picnic food that comes with it...not too bad either!

i love a trip to the beach. i love the smell or the ocean, the sand and the way my skin smells there.

My favorite part of Summer has got to be popsicles on the back porch and the buckets that my kiddos have that fill up with beach and park treasures.

My favorite thing about summer is baseball season for my boys!

In the summer months, I look forward to the start of Mad Men, less traffic for my husband to drive in, camping trips, and going to the park as often as I can with my son.

Definitely the warm weather. When you live in Wisconsin, you take full advantage of the summer weather after the long winter and barely there spring.
