My absolute favorite thing about summer is the absence of a schedule! More relaxed time to spend with my 3 kids, no alarms, no driving them all in different directions (at the same time!) and more time for making memories and scrapbooking them!!

my favorite thing about the summer is freedom...freedom from bulky, heavy clothes and freedom from school schedules. We are free to play outside, go for ice cream on a weekday and just lounge. I love summer!

I love having my kids "back". I feel like I have to share them with school, homework, and busy schedules all through the school year. In the summer I look forward to a relaxed schedule with them, fun day trips and just hanging out with my ever growing "babies".

I love that the sun is out late and my husband and I can sit in the backyard with a glass of wine relaxing :)

My favorite thing about the summer months is simply being able to enjoy the outdoors as part of our living space, both because of the more temperate weather and because it is light longer this time of year.

My favorite part of the summer is not being tied to a schedule. My husband and I are both educators and work reduced hours in the summer, so we love being able to be more spontaneous with the kids.

Warm sunshine, fireflies, grilling out, days at the pool, garage sale season, and using the firepit and tiki torches at night. =)

Buying fresh vegetables from the farmer's market.

I love that that I get out and enjoy the world and nature more than during the winter time; BBQ's in my backyard, camping with friends and family, swimming at the river, road trips/vacations, etc., summer just seems to make things so new and fresh every time!!
