There are so many things to love about summer -- longer days, no jackets or boots required, frequent trips for ice cream, the color green...

my fav thing....the whole family hanging out at the *pool while my hubby and i grill hotdogs and sausages on the grill...just hanging out all together!

I love Summer evenings...sitting out on the patio into the night...soft, warm and peaceful. And, if the day was hot the evenings here in WNC are generally cooler. It's luscious! What a wonderful descriptive word that invokes all kinds of thoughts. Have a wonderful day and thanks for the chances to not only win but see what's on the minds of others.

we have summer all year long here where i live. i love the warmth. :D

I'm a teacher, so summer means not having to set my alarm or follow a schedule. I love being able to choose my daily plan "in the moment" and not have to set things up way ahead of time.

Lazy days at the beach and the long warm nights.

Call me a kid, but I love the lack of or less structure to our days. Once I get off work which is 3:30, we can do whatever without the worries of homework, dinner, athletic schedules and parent/teacher meetings. Usually we hit up the pool, bbq, hang out and just have a blast with life.

I'm a teacher, so the summer months mean I have time to catch up on all of the things I pass up on from Sept-June. Spending a whole day reading a great book, watching three movies in one night, doing yoga every morning, just enjoying every day.

Vacations, sleeping in and no school pressures.

My favorite thing about the summer months is the relaxed pace of living.

I love having no commitments, being able to come and go. Go slow and enjoy the season, good friends and family.

Things I love about summer: Christmas, my birthday, warm evening cocktails, running to avoid burning feet on hot pavement... (oh yeah, I'm in the Southern hemisphere!)

My favorite thing about the summer months is not having to get up early to get my little girl ready for school! We all get to sleeeeeeep peacefully until well after 8 am. :) I can't wait!!

I love the long days, warm sun, being outside as much as possible and going to the pool.

Ah, sweet summer! I love the creativity that it brings. The kids get creative with the extra time; they draw more, play imagination games more and use their imagination more. I love the bare feet in the grass, ice cream trucks, night swims in the pool. Just the peacefulness of not having a rushed schedule.
