I love bringing my son to the water park and watching his litte face enjoy all the different things he can do there. I also just love sitting there watching all the other children running around and just enjoying life...pure joy!

I love the warm sunshine and the extra hours of daylight to spend outside.

My favorite thing about the summer months is just notion that things in the summertime should be done outside. Working full time makes it hard to get out and enjoy the sunshine, but thats what summer is for, so it seems that I try to make more of a point of getting out when it is summertime.

I love family vacations and no school for my kids!

Gosh...i love SO many things about summer: warm, sunny days, fresh fruits, farmer's markets, music in the parks, VBS, fresh-squeezed lemonade, my children running their lemonade stand :), picking berries, taking my kids swimming and not having a schedule! :)

Warmth! We don't get anything near heat waves here and at this point I'd just like a little bit of warmth (had to turn my furnace on yesterday). I can't wait to sit on the deck and invite friends over for a cocktail. And speaking of cocktail.....the Lemonade and Soda Pop kits are wicked!!

Having tea parties on the deck with my two little girls. Watered down Earl Grey always tastes better in the sun.

spending more time at our family cottage on the bay with my gorgeous kiddos! no schedules, no homework, no carpool, no early bedtimes, no early morning rises!

I love that the kids are out of school and we can spent a lot of time together.

summer... jumping into a swimming pool when it's so hot outside, then going out of the pool when my fingers are all wrinkly; having snacks with family with towels wrapped around out wet suits and wet bottoms

They say that the smells are the strongest memory triggers. Maybe that is why the smell of cut grass, sun drenched flowers and wet swim suits on hot concrete are my summer favorites.

My favorite thing about the summer months, in addition to the warm weather I crave, is that we get extra hours of daylight. You can make more hay when the sun shines longer!

I love using our pool. We only get to use it about 5 months out of the year so summer to me is swimming!

I love being out on the river, playing Cro-shoes, going boating, being with my family and friends, and feeling the hot sun on my face. I appreciate it a lot more now than ever, as I no longer live where I can do that every weekend all summer... they're in North Dakota and I'm in London. It will be another year or 2 before I get to do it again, making it even more special.

I love that we get to spend some time together as a family. Nothing can beat that...
