I love seeing everything bloom in my garden... walks to the park, and watching my dog swim.

My favorite things about the summer months are: the relaxing feeling I get during the warm summer days, seeing the neighborhood children playing in the street in front of our house, slurpees and wearing loose, breezy clothing.

I love, love, love getting fresh cherries and peaches in Central Washinigton. My mother-in-law lives there and I have several friends who are farm workers and they give us boxes and boxes of cherries and peaches. Yumm...I can't wait for homemade ice cream.

My favorite thing about the summer is popsicles! As a kid, I loved visiting my grandparents because they'd give us a quarter to go to the country store on the corner and buy a root beer popsicle. Now, as the Mom of two beautiful chicklets, it's a hoot watching them eat, drip and get popsicles melted all over themselves. Spraying them off after they've finished is a great way to enjoy cooling down in the summer heat, too. :)

I love the relaxed nature of things in the summertime -- how we hang out in the pool every night after the hot sun fades away and we can just enjoy each others company. I love the laughter and sounds of water splashing. That sound is SO summer to me.

My favorite thing about summer is laying out in the backyard on a quilt with my husband looking at the stars and talking about the day. We have some of our best conversations out there.

LOVE summertime weather! If it lasted all year long i would be fine with it! I also love fresh lemonade with my kids and eating out on the deck just because!

Summer... I love the fresh fruit, corn on a cob, and grill outs. I love watching my two girls splash in lakes and make sand art on the beach.

My favorite thing about summer is THE WATER!! I live near Galveston, TX so it's beach or bay... mostly beach in the summer! I am all about helping Galveston recover from the totally devastating (and little-discussed on the national scene) Hurricane Ike.

My favorite thing in the summer is the smell of my 4 year old fresh from the pool or beach. The joy of spending all day eating popsicles, swimming, and wearing flip flops! LOVE it!

My favorite thing about the summer months is the easy going pace - no real deadlines to be concerned about and few scheduled events. It's a fun, relaxing time!
