I love summer evenings when it cools off just a little and there is a slight breeze blowing. I get to sit out on our deck and hear the sounds of sprinklers sprinkling, kids playing and beetles chirping. It's all very soothing!

My favourite things are long warm evenings and growing vegetables! I love summer so much!!!

By far the best thing is being in the warmth of the sun and the smell of wet kids and chlorine from swimming. I know, the smell of chlorine may not be great to most people but to me it means SUMMER!

The thing I look forward to every summer is getting to see my brother Andy and my nephew Hunter. They live up in Minnesota so when they come down to Florida I get to act more like a tourist, then a local.

I look forward to a relaxed schedule during the summer. It's so wonderful to sleep in and not have to rush out the door to get everyone to school so early.

warm breezy late afternoons spent at the ocean on the maine coast, where there is unlimited natural play for my children no matter what their ages are, and peace for me. True heaven!
