My favorite childhood memory is going camping at the beach every summer with family and friends. It was something that we looked forwarded to all year long!

i think our annual summer family vacation was always the highlight of the summer. we would always go somewhere different, but the time spent together without any of our normal schedules or distractions was a treasure. i am so thankful my parents always made that time together as a family a priority.

Oh, I have so many. One of my favorite memories is swimming and boating at the lake and we'd end the evening roasting marshmallows.

I am blessed with a mutitude of happy childhood summer memories...The one that jumped to mind was Girl Scout camp. Carefree days of learning to love the outdoors.

My favorite summer time is the village Questembert (Bretagne - France) where i spent my holidays. There was a little book shop where i went alone (at 8 years old) and i bought my books. It was the beginning of a big love of books.... all books (story, novel, art, historic...). and that continues...

So many to choose from. One memory would be picking fresh fruit and veggies from my grandma's garden. Yummy!

I remember living with my grandparents for a whole summer... I had a herd of stick horses. They had a small patch of cane growing next to the garden and every few days my buddy would cut me a couple more stick horses. I had a hitching post that I kept them lined up on and I rode different ones everyday so they wouldn't get too tired. ms.cheryl

I can remember spending every day in the summer holidays at our local outdoor swimming pool!!

mine would be time spent at my grandparents trailer with them, my brother and cousins.

I think my favorite summer time memories are all our times we spent overseas in different countries. My favorite was while stationed in Japan. Enjoying the different festivals and culture.

My favorite childhood summer memory is camping and canoeing with my family. We would put our two dogs in the canoe and go for the whole day. I loved everything about camping- the campfires, sleeping with everyone together in the tent, etc.

My favorite childhood summer memories are the long hot days when my sister and I would play ball in the street while Mom & Grandma watched from the front porch. When we got too hot or tired we'd sit with them and drink lemonade and listen to the "adult conversations." I will never buy a house unless it has a front porch!

I love Elle's Studio! One of my favorite childhood memories was to play hide and seek with my sister and brother. It was so fun!

My favorite childhood summer memory: not having to do school work, growing up in China, our summer vacation is only 2 months long and we have gruesome study schedules, so it's nice just not have to worry about tests etc.

One of my favorite childhood memories is going to my grandparent's house, meeting up with my cousins & us catching fireflies in their backyard until way past our bedtime! :)

My favorite summertime memory is basically just running barefoot through the backyards of my neighborhood, playing tag and other outdoor games til dark, when mom would yell out the back door that it was time to come home!
