Hi Ali---My favorite summertime memory has got to be just being outside from first thing in the morning until the street lights came on at night, the sun on my shoulders, no worries, just my friends, our bikes and the outdoors. Those were the days :)

My favorite summertime memory is climbing out to the roof of my grandma's home, picking mangoes from the tree that was within reach, eating them and just exchanging stories with my cousin.

My favorite childhood memory? Sadly I don't remember much....however I do remember a bent old tree that I thought was magical...I thought fairies lived in it. I built a fairy house. One night I put some food in the fairy house and the next day it was gone! I was so positive that there were fairies there. Still do think they exist. :)

So many summer memories - playing with my favorite cousin, trying 2 of my favorite foods (fried squash and chocolate chip pancakes) for the first time, exploring in my grandparents' attics, catching lightning bugs, climbing trees, going to the country club, working jigsaw puzzles with my great-grandmother, trips to Opryland in Nashville, ... Read MoreLibertyland in Memphis, Navarre Beach, FL. What these memories all had in common were my annual summer trips from Alabama to visit my 2 sets of grandparents in Tennessee. I was lucky enough to usually spend a month with them. I lost both of my grandfathers while I was in college, and both of my grandmothers passed away at the beginning of this year, 13 days apart. What I would give to relive one day of my childhood summers with them!

It's gotta be playing in the sprinkler with my brothers. It gets REALLY HOT in Houston and even the water in the sprinkler was hot, but we didn't care ... it was just the shrieking and running back and forth through the water that was a treat. Do they still make those sprinklers that turn in circles? Those were the best!

My favorite summer time memory is our family vacation to visit my uncle and aunt in Minnesota when i was in sixth grade. I remember sketching the whole way out. When we got there we met our baby cousin, i learned how to ride a horse, feed st. bernards, and hold a baby.

Favorite summertime memory when I was a kid? Playing with the neighbor kids & my brothers, collecting pollywogs in the irrigation ditch nearby & then watching them grow into frogs & letting them go afterwards :).

Running around the neighborhood, playing with my friends; only going inside if I were hungry, or when the street lights came on (curfew).

Summer for my family was always about swimming. Lessons were from 9-12 5 days a week. Sometimes we'd eat lunch in the snack bar and stay to swim some more. Other times we'd go home for lumch and naps and then go back later in the afternoon, eat dinner in the snack bar and swim till the pool closed. As my siblings and I got too old to take lessons we started teaching and lifeguarding. I really miss those days!

My favorite childhood summertime memory is from the summer I grew flowers (OK so they might have actually been flowering weeds) from seed. I watered and checked on them daily and was so happy to see them grow.

i remember play outside a lot! I had a best friend Andy, and he and I played all the time. We loved to swing, and run through the sprinkler, and play kickball in the street with all the neighbor kids.
I also enjoyed going up to the lake to my aunt and uncle's cabin. We would swim, play in inner-tubes, go fishing, all good memories there. Also, we got measured on "the post" every summer and it was fun to see how much we had grown.
