Watering my vegetable garden and picking tons of herbs to keep in the fridge.

crying like a baby over a sports movie .. ... I don't play sports, and I don't really care about any of them but Phx Suns basketball, and yet any sports movie can make me cry ... from the Mighty Ducks to Remember the Titans ... this morning it was Friday Night Lights ...

Today has been a rough one: gloomy weather, dissapointments, PMS, a frustrating meeting, a long graduation to attend this evening. Thanks for the reminder to continue to look for the glimpses of happiness in the middle. I'll be back when I find it! :)

that makes me happy.

Oh wow! Seeing that beautiful photo of the flowers makes me happy. But, mostly, I'm happy that my 2 year old son just learned to stick out his tougue and purse his lips. I'm happy that he loves to smell roses (he's doing this right now with a dried one on my desk). I'm happy because I just shared lunch with friends. I'm happy because you asked!

Finally being well enough to get online and check out all my favorite blogs!!!!!! (been VERY under the weather!!!)

oh man-at first pass I thought 'Oh Ali, so very little happiness today'. Then I thought about the way my kids wil run into my arms and yell 'Mommy' when I pick them up from day-care. That will be my little piece of heaven today. thanks!

Today, I had my kids pictures taken outdoors and we had a great time...it is so much fun to be in nature and getting great smiles!

my 3 year old stepped on my toe.
when I said "Ouch!" he said, "alright Mommy??" and kissed my toe.
I love this kid.

Seeing 4th & 5th grade kids that are getting into the awkward social importance stage leave it all behind to play awesome silly games at vacation bible school today then making Bear Track snacks of graham crackers with coolwhip, oreo on top and chocolate chips for the claws/toes- too funny/messy!!

I know this will probably sound bad but in a hour I will be driving my oldest two( teens) to where we use to live. they will be spedning a week there. I will miss them both a great deal but that also means I'll get to spend more time with my two little guys( 9&8) instead of driving the two teens all over the place. I have an entire week of fun stuff planned..... pure joy

Im happy when I hear my 5 year old (a child with developmental delays,expressive and receptive) counting backwards from 100 with no problems at all. Also My older son showing me the new Space book he got from the school bookorder with great excitement and intrigue! So pround of my boys!

Getting the chance to play in my studio and create just for me. Working on a shawdowbox for Kevin for Father's day. Good stuff that is making me happy on a sunny Thursday in MI.

Today - as with most days it's when my son (3) says Mommy You are my Friend, it's when get gets the remote from the car for our walk and puts it back again, it's when he says he loves his Rogan(the little boy next door), it's watching him ride around the block on his trike, it's taking photos, it's finding the elusive blue Mason jars with screw tops at a garage sale, it's finally getting my business card mock up done! Ok so it's really just a good day but most of these things will make me smile whenever they happen - not just all together!

a ladybug in my garden, a photo shoot at a great park, my girls happily off with their nanny,peace, possibilities, a four year old who is so thankful that I want to help her, and knowing we are eating supper out with family. ahhhhh perfect!

Having Lily in a preschool that she loves going to. She loves being around these other kids...it's amazing to watch!
