Jodi Picoult marathon.
Don't know what took me so long but I finally picked up a Jodi Picoult novel in the Salt Lake airport. By the time I got home I had read 250 pages of My Sister's Keeper and finished it up this morning. It was an awesome, heart-wrenching, take-me-to-another-place novel. It was so good I had to go to the used book store today to stock up on as many of her other books as I could. Already started another one: The Pact.
Been waiting to find a new author I could devour like this one...

Oh, what a great discovery Ali! JP is one of my FAVES...and my Sister's Keeper was just a bawler. The Pact is great too...although different. Enjoy!

you really can't go wrong with her...my first (and still favorite) of hers is "Plain Truth". You will devour that one and love it too--I think I am pretty caught up on all of hers! Enjoy!

I have read almost all of her books and each one has been better than the next. Enjoy her work. The imagery is amazing and she makes you look at your own life in different ways through each of her characters. Brilliant stuff.

Ali, I started the same way! My Sister's Keeper, then the Pact. After that, I read Keeping Faith, and the rest from there on. I love Jodi Picoult, the way the takes really tough issues and helps you see things from both view points. Enjoy!

I, too, started with My Sister's Keeper. I came across it while I was recovering from surgery and couldn't do much else. Really a great author.

OOH - i absolutely love her books. They're the only ones that keep me reading non-stop. I remember finishing My Sister's Keeper at a Starbucks ... sitting there, bawling. Such a good book!

She is amazing; to say the least. My Sisters Keeper is wonderful; one of my favorites; but if you want edge of your seating; heart wrenching, and just over the top fascinating...you should read Perfect Match!
I have read all of her novels; including her latest Nineteen Minutes...very gripping...

I have picked up her novels so many times but never actually bought one and read it so maybe its time I did.
A couple of recommendations that I have read recently and loved are
The Memory Keepers Daughter - Kim Edwards
The Time Travellers Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
I still miss the main character from the time traveller!
Enjoy! Jools
