I love old typewriter fonts, tattered dictionary pages, and more and would like to include these elements in my stories.

Almost always I handwrite my journaling. Occasionally I generate some computer type.
Hoping to learn other ways of getting that journaling on pages! An also the hardest thing for me is leaving enough room for the journaling. Hoping to learn how to make that happen!
Thanks for the chance to win this class. I really want to take it--just not in my budget :(

i would love to make lettering and the type i choose flow seamlessly into the overall feeling of the page. currently, the lettering is an afterthought. i think this course would help me tell a better visual story.

I'd love to win a spot in this workshop! I love letters and combining them with images. I do that now only with handwritten letters, but would love to know how to do it digitally, and other lettering ideas you have. Sounds like great fun!

It would be lovely to learn how to use fonts to make my layouts more interesting in their appearance to readers. By using different fonts my title can grab the interest of those perusing my albums. Thanks for the chance to win a spot in class!

Thanks for the chance to win. I would like to learn about combining fonts, and choosing fonts that enhance the story. I would like to feel like I know something about fonts, like I do about storytelling and photography. It is the piece of the puzzle that is missing, in my mind. I want my decision to use a certain font to be based on knowledge, rather than a random selection.

This would be so awesome to win! It'd be a fabulous Birthday Present to Me! haha!
I would love to learn how to use several different fonts within a page without it looking like a huge mess! I would also love to learn how to journal a story without going on and on and on! Not sure if that's possible to learn in this particular class, but it's something I have struggled with. Articulating a story getting in all of the details without overwhelming the reader/viewer of the page.
Thank you so much for this chance to win!

Just adding words in general is sometimes my biggest hang up. Would love to include more words.

Oh Ali,
You are in such a precious place in your children's lives...their ages!
My children will be 22 and 18 in the next few weeks and it is so HARD to keep up with capturing their lives when so much of it takes place AWAY from us. I am looking for ways to connect the stories and keep the memories going...even away from home. Thank you.

I think I know what I'll get out of your class and then you smack me upside the head with so much more information and inspiration than I thought possible. If I could pick one thing, it would be how to choose the best font(s) to fit the mood of the layout (happy, serious, playful, reflective, etc.)
