In Case You Missed It | January 22
Happy Friday, friends! This is Lisa, the new AE Social Media Community Manager. I'm so thrilled to be part of this team and excited to get started working with this amazing community. You'll probably see me pop up here from time to time, and we'll have a weekly date for In Case You Missed It. In Case You Missed It is a weekly round-up of news and links that will be posted every Friday afternoon over in the Craft The Story Facebook Group, as well as here on the blog. We invite you to join the group, if you aren't already a member. The community is comprised of incredibly inspirational and supportive memory keepers and I have personally gained so much from being a member.
Without further ado, welcome to the January 22nd edition of In Case You Missed It. Let's get to it:
- Exciting shop update! New albums (including the 9x12 size) and page protectors will be available in the shop next Wednesday, 1/27. Please note: 6x8 page protectors will be restocked next month and are not included in this shop update.
- Also coming next Wednesday is the 2021 Day in the Life™ release. An album bundle, and other shop items will available. More information will be provided as we get closer to the date. Ali would love to invite you to join her in documenting her first DITL project this year on Tuesday, March 9th.
- Ali's next video in her Craft the Story™ YouTube Series is live. In this week’s video (Episode 03) Ali’s sharing a look at how she uses albums as homes for her stories. She’s also including a closer look inside a few of those albums. Find it here.
- Creative team member Morgan Beal shared a great video on the AE instagram account using this month’s story stamp. Make sure and check it out if you missed it! Find it here.
- Last chance! Please take the time to complete the 2021 survey for the Facebook group. It will close on Monday, January 25th. Your responses will help shape the content, activities, and direction of the group as we move forward. Find it here.
- If you are part of our Craft The Story™ Facebook Group, don’t forget to check out our new selection of pinned posts located under the announcements tab (or at the top of the group page). The Product Releases post has been updated with a calendar of release dates and hints at new collections coming out in 2021. I’m also working on a much-requested FAQ post as a home for the group’s most commonly asked questions. Until that is live, please don’t forget about the great search function located at the top of the group page as well as the comprehensive FAQ section located on the AE website. Find it here.
We’re so grateful to have you all as members of this community! Have a wonderful weekend and we'll see you here next Friday.
Love this update. Thank you, Lisa!
I'm so happy to hear that! I'm still fine-tuning the format so it works over here on the blog...some information doesn't translate well. Its a work in progress!!

This is awesome Lisa. Will there be a preview of the Day in the Life products prior to Wednesday either on the blog or Craft the Story group.
Yes! There will be some sort of preview, similar to previous years! :) Most likely in both places.

I won't do FB, so will there be anywhere else to get the calendar of release dates? I'm retired on a limited income and it sure would help if I could budget for the releases. Thanks!
I also won't use FB - anywhere else this information will be ?
I also don't use FB or instagram. Please post here as well.
Ditto! I am no longer a FB user. Please make this content available here! :)
We're looking into this!! Thank you for the feedback!
A really great option would be Mighty Networks if you aren't looking to blog about it here. Lots of scrappy peeps heading over that way because they are tired of Facebook :)
The product release schedule can be found here: https://www.aliedwards.com/product-release-schedule
Thanks Ali & team for making this info available to those of us who don't use FB.

ditto to other comments... I hate FB and took it off my phone, etc. Only reason I've kept it is for groups related to kids, but I don't want to be tied to it if I can help. Please consider web/youtube places for recaps or info or even a backend community via the website.
This is what we are doing :).
