A Look Back At All Ali's Projects In 2023

I'm working on getting my office cleaned up and ready for 2024. While I was doing that I thought it would be fun to put together a video where I flip through all the projects I've worked on in 2023.

As you watch this video I don't want you to have any thoughts of competition or that you didn't do enough (check out this post about finding your own "enough"). People in our community participate in these projects when it works for them. Please remember that this is my job and part of my job is to share ideas and ways of documenting - you get to be the boss of your own experience and find the projects that fit your own season of life. Don't let your hobby cause stress or make you feel less than. You are awesome just as you are right now.

While filming this video I was so filled with gratitude for memory keeping. I am so thankful that this is such a big part of my life and that we get to come together to encourage and inspire each other to tell the stories of our lives. Thank you for being a part of this community and thank you for sharing your own stories along the way.

Let's dive in!

Also, right now classes are 40% off using code SPRINGDEAL (not valid on 2023 December Daily® or 2024 One Little Word®)

Classes mentioned in the video above:

Here's where you can see posts on the other projects:

You did Pieces of Play was in February 2023 too!! It was one of my favourites, too. The stitched journal with 7 prompts sooooo fun and started and finished. Got so many stories told that week. 😃 Your projects are amazing and so helpful. Thank you Ali!

Hi Ali, is the 40% off available on the 2022 bundle for Just Write as its not working at checkout? I thought it might be a good way to see if I wanted to sign up monthly!

Hi! This bundle was accidentally left active from a previous digital Stories Revisited which is why its not working with the promo code. Please start a conversation and I'll have the team make an exception for you.

Thank you for sharing all these albums in one video. While you are making your decision on 2024 documenting, I wanted to point out one of my favorites. -Your 2019 Monthly Project Life in a 9x12 album. I’d love to see you do something similar to that awesome album.

I LOVED this walk through. So fun to see it all in one place. It gave me a few ideas of a new album combining all the random pages into one annual album. Excited to see your plans for 2024.

Thank you for sharing! I was wondering if you ever tried including 6x8 pages into a larger (12x12 or 9x12) album? I started doing our PL style album in 6x8 last year because I loved the papers in the Stories by the Month kit but abandoned it early on and never ended up finishing in either size. I’m just wondering if it’s possible to somehow incorporate those pages into one large album along with the bigger divided page protectors.

Check out her 2019 Project Life. It had a variety of sizes included in that album. I love that one so much!

I loved the Story Play kits from last year. DITL is ALWAYS a project I love because it's so simple and super quick. When you just don't feel like you have a lot of time for scrapbooking, it's a wonderful way to capture life. This week I'm finishing up the last kit from that - little moments. SO glad there will be another one for 2024!

Love this post! Thank you for sharing! Do you have any resources or tips about how you get yourself into so many of the photos of your life? I had to go back to September to find me anywhere lol. Would love a little advice if you have any. Thanks!

I love all your projects, and have for many years. I don't complete all of them every year, but I do get so inspired following along with you. I think 2023 was a great creative year for you Ali. I loved watching you play and have fun. And the blog has had so much wonderful content from you and other contributors. Thank you. My favourite "project" from you this year was your "Start Here" Class. It was filled with so much inspiration. Reminded me of your original Hello Story class, which blew me away so many years ago. Linda's Plan Prep & Play class this year was another highlight. I'm looking forward to 2024, and being able to dedicate some time to participate more myself.
